What is Bags?

Bags is a token launchpad where the people behind a coin earn a share of trading fees for as long as it trades. Launches run on Solana through Meteora bonding curves and, more recently, on Robinhood Chain through public contracts.

On Solana, a token starts on a dynamic bonding curve and migrates to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool when it reaches its threshold. Fee recipients set at launch, such as the creator or linked social accounts, claim their share of fees on-chain.

Fee structure is configurable: seven SOL fee modes trade off lower early fees against higher post-migration fees, and some modes compound part of each fee back into liquidity. Custom quote tokens other than SOL are supported.

On Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum Orbit L2, BagsFactory deploys a token, bonding curve and fee-share contract; 830M of 1B tokens sell on the curve, then liquidity moves to a Uniswap v4 pool with locked LP. Index tokens can route creator fees into a basket of tokenized assets for holders.

Developers get a REST API, CLI and TypeScript SDK to launch tokens, trade and claim fees, with changelog-tracked releases. The docs focus on the API; the consumer app's wallet and custody model is not described in them.

Good fit for

  • Creators and communities launching a coin with built-in revenue
  • Developers integrating token launches into apps

Not ideal for

  • Traders who want low per-trade costs
  • Users seeking vetted or long-term investments

The default Bags fee mode charges 2% on every trade. Before migration the fee is split 1% to the platform and 1% to the token's fee recipients; after migration, 0.5% is compounded into pool liquidity and the rest is split 0.75% and 0.75%. On new configs the deployer receives 25% of the creator pool.

Launchers can choose among seven SOL fee modes, including a 0.25% pre-migration and 1% post-migration option. On Robinhood Chain a flat 2% applies to the ETH leg of every trade, with 1% to creators. Network fees and optional tips are extra.
